Carat & Kanvas is a SaaS platform that helps jewellery shops generate and deliver daily gold rate cards via WhatsApp. We are operated by an individual proprietor based at 18/17/19, T S R Big Street, Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu – 612001, India.

2. Information We Collect

When you register and use Carat & Kanvas, we collect:

Your name and email address (via account registration)
Your shop name, address, and WhatsApp number
Your shop logo (uploaded by you)
Gold and silver rates you submit daily
Payment information (processed securely via Razorpay — we do not store card details)
Usage data such as generation history and login timestamps

3. How We Use Your Information

To generate and deliver your daily gold rate cards
To send rate cards to your customers via WhatsApp on your behalf
To manage your subscription and process payments
To provide customer support
To improve our service and fix issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Carat & Kanvas:

Supabase — database and file storage
fal.ai / OpenAI — AI image generation
Razorpay — payment processing
WhatsApp (via Evolution API) — message delivery

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and handles data in accordance with applicable laws.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated rate card images are stored for up to 90 days. If you cancel your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days upon written request.

We use essential cookies only — to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
